Lala is an umbrella brand focused on K-beauty and Medical Aesthetics. The brand after 6 years of existence, wanted to inaugurate its medical aesthetic spa in 2021.

The Shape
More than a cosmetics brand, Lala pays particular attention to skincare issues. The brand produces its cosmeceutical products in South Korea, combining plants, algae, etc. (nature) and medical aesthetics (science) to thoroughly treat various skincare issues.
The Process
We have conducted an exhaustive analysis of the beauty industry, as well as companies in other sectors that match our target customer profiles. We interviewed brand customers, and potential customers and held strategic meetings.
This allowed us to plan the rebranding of the brand, around the following axes: developing the brand’s architecture, its positioning, its personality, and its product mix.
We come up with the name “Lala Medi Spa”, to make the spa a continuation of Lala Beauties so that it can be a lever for the brand’s growth.
Brand Strategy
The key insight was that the beauty industry in French-speaking Africa has a lot of brands that position themselves as “organic.”
By combining the essence of Lala Beauties products: solving skincare issues with its tools (K-beauty and medical aesthetics), we managed to define a clear and lucrative niche for the brand.
Enough to encourage consumers to consider beautiful, healthy skin as a long-term investment and a lifestyle.
Brand Identity
We then thought of a new visual identity to better illustrate the brand’s unique character.
Customer experience design
Lala offers a wide range of cosmeceutical products intended for black, mixed, and white skin. These products are manufactured in South Korea by the brand's partners labs according to international standards.
In three years of collaboration, we have ensured the rebranding of more than a hundred cosmeceutical products and launched new ones.
Our intervention each time is complete, from product naming through packaging design and marketing strategy.
We also designed the brand’s customer experience as well as its loyalty program. Each year, we also ideate and conceptualize the festive season marketing program.
Social media strategy
Social media, particularly Instagram, is the brand's major contact channel. Thanks to a carefully thought-out and constantly evolving social media strategy, we express LALA's positioning, values, and news.
Social networks also allow us to: maintain the Beauties community, nurture it, and listen to its needs and aspirations.
For Valentine's Day 2023, we gave a nod to the brand's old visual identity. The idea was to emphasize the different facets of love and to remind the Beauties, that LALA loves them.
Lala Medi Spa turned 2 years old on December 9th 2023. We thought of a campaign combined with an attractive commercial offer on one of the most sought-after treatments. The Beauties were thus able to celebrate the anniversary at the spa, sipping Mimosa.
Web Design
Lala Beauties ships worldwide via DHL. In addition, spa appointments are made online. It was therefore relevant for the brand to have an intuitive and mobile-friendly website.
We created all the text content, and designed the entire front end of the website, to ensure that the Beauties have a smooth and efficient online experience.
Photography & video
Through a series of photoshoots, each one more ambitious than the last, we made sure to capture the unique philosophy of the brand. Whether for product pictures, video shoots, or advertising campaigns, the goal is to provide LALA with a complete and distinct visual universe.
This content helped distinguish LALA from the competition, emphasizing the brand’s sophisticated, refined, and expert personality.
