The Shape
Revenge Body by L is a Beninese brand that promotes well-being and self-confidence. The brand products are shapewear, leggings, and sports accessories.
Revenge Body by L is therefore, as its name suggests, an invite to push your limits and to feel beautiful in your body and your mind.
The Process
We started with an exhaustive analysis of the fitness industry, particularly the shapewear market in French-speaking Africa, as well as companies in other sectors that target a similar clientele. We interviewed potential customers, assessed existing customer experience, and held strategy meetings.
This allowed us to guide the rebranding of the brand through the following points: the architecture of the brand, its positioning, its personality, and its product mix.
Brand Strategy
The main observation is that most brands that sell shapewear in French-speaking Africa use the same color codes and similar formats to approach customers.
It was therefore necessary to build a distinct universe for Revenge Body by L that will resonate with the brand's values.
Brand Identity
We then designed a convincing visual identity, to illustrate the new purpose of the brand. The visual identity of Revenge Body by L is based on keywords such as self-confidence, discipline, and beauty.
We wanted to create a visual system that was refined, dynamic, and timeless.
Social media strategy
Social media, particularly Facebook and Instagram, are the brand’s major touchpoints. Thanks to an inspirational user-focused marketing strategy, we express the brand’s positioning, values, and new products daily.
Photography & video
Through a series of photoshoots and videos, we gradually disseminated the brand's message to bring more authenticity to the brand’s content.
This content helped to distinguish the brand from its competitors and drive more sales.
The most important step when creating a brand is to take action. A year after launching Revenge Body by L, I was unhappy with the way the brand looked on social media. With the MC&Co team, we managed in a few sessions to define a clear strategy and action plan. In addition to its professionalism and open-mindedness, the team was able to carry out this project as if it were their own and provide support thoroughly. Thanks to the entire MC&Co team!
